Camille M. Renella, RN, CME, LNC

Clinical Medical Ethicist/Legal Nurse Consultant
Executive Director, Healthcare Competency Program Specialists, LLC

Why I Advocate For Patients:

I have story upon story of patients whose care was compromised by miscommunication or broken connections with their clinicians. Each one reinforces why I am so passionate about helping people.

When I see those gaps, I feel compelled to use my education and professional experience to repair and restore the relationship—for the benefit of the patient—considering the whole person: their physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs.

My approach is to examine every angle and integrate objective evidence to bridge the gap and achieve the best possible outcome, as defined by the patient.

For me, this mission is not simply a job. It is a natural reflection of who I am as a healthcare provider, and why I bring heart, expertise, and real-life stories to every situation I engage in.
